I failed the math exam and had to take a three-hour oral re-exam (didn’t miss a single, solitary question). One of the examiners, Clint Dawson, wanted to fail me! He’s now chairman of the department. I sat in on his math class for one year, auditing, and made a B the second year. You know what? He’s a FAILURE as a teacher, too. Hah.
